Do you take my Insurance and Medicare?
Insurance
Your membership ensures access to Dr. Bishop who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. It is important to keep your health insurance coverage current in order to cover expenses outside of his office. Patients should rely on their commercial/employer-sponsored insurance or Medicare for coverage of laboratory tests, scans and x-rays, specialist visits and hospital care. Dr. Bishop accepts most insurance plans. Medical services will be billed to your insurance and we accept what is reimbursed. The membership fee will be used to pay for all your copays, co-insurance, and deductible associated with services from this practice. As a result of paying the membership fee, you will never receive another bill for medical services provided by this practice!
Medicare
Dr. Bishop does participate in the traditional Medicare as well as most Medicare Advantage programs (Medicare HMOs).
What is the cost of participation?
Membership in the practice is available for an annual fee of $1698 per family ($141.50 per month) or $898 per individual ($75 per month). The fee works out to likely be less than your monthly cell phone and/or cable bill. With your membership fee, you have around-the-clock access to Dr. Bishop, unhurried appointments, personalized care, and all the other features as previously stated. This means you receive superior personalized healthcare solutions when you need it.
Payment Options
AnnuallyTwo Payments - Half at start and other half six months later.Three Payments - 1/3 at start, 1/3 four months later, and last 1/3 four months later.
